ANSTO gave updates today to the Working Group members on two issues – supply for next and coming weeks, and some early indications about when the ANM facility might become fully operational again for domestic supply.

Working Group members were advised by ANSTO today that there is an expected shipment of Mo-99 from NTP (South Africa) arriving on Monday afternoon. This will give around 40% of the normal amount that is usually available in Australia. The Mo-99 arriving today will be manufactured into generators on Tues and Wed for delivery on Wed and Thursday respectively. This week GMS and all regional and rural areas will receive generators, while metropolitan sites will mostly stay on supply from GMS. In total, up to nearly 90 generators will be dispatched this week.
