ANZSNM members are at the forefront of service in the Nuclear Medicine profession.


Membership of the ANZSNM will allow you access to and provide your input into the only organisation in Australia or New Zealand that represents the combined interests of all Nuclear Medicine practitioners: Chemists, Nurses, Physicians, Physicists, Radiopharmacists, Scientists, Technologists and others. Membership of the Society provides a range of both professional and individual benefits including:

Ordinary Membership is defined in the Constitution of the Society and is open to those who hold a tertiary qualification and are actively involved in the production or application of radionuclides in medicine or the biological sciences. New science graduates in nuclear medicine qualify for a reduced membership fee in their first year of employment after graduation.

Associate Membership is available to tertiary nuclear medicine students during their degree course and also to nuclear medicine medical trainees until they reach a consultancy position.

Previous members of the Society can qualify for Retired Membership when they are fully retired from employment.

Every applicant for membership of the Society will be proposed by one and seconded by another member of the Society to both of whom the applicant will be known. The application for membership will be made in writing, signed by the applicant and his proposer and seconder, include the name of the Branch to which the applicant intends to belong and will be in such form as the Council from time to time prescribes.
