Paul Orr Memorial Award

The Paul Orr Memorial Award was set up by the NZ Branch of the Australia and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM) soon after Paul’s sudden death in 2002 as a mark of respect for the work and dedication he put into the field of both Radiology and Nuclear Medicine. Paul held the mantle of NZ Branch President for many years and had been a force behind setting up and maintaining professional training and standards in the New Zealand Nuclear Medicine community. The award was established to assist a member from the New Zealand Nuclear Medicine community to attend the following year’s ANSZNM symposium to assist with continuing education.
