The Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (the Board) has begun public consultation on the revised professional capabilities for medical radiation practice. Professional capabilities describe the minimum level of professional capability required for general registration and independent practice as a diagnostic radiographer, a nuclear medicine technologist or a radiation therapist in Australia.

Information session

Making a submission

Please provide your comments and feedback by email by midday 26 April 2019 using the response template available on the Consultation page. Please email your submission with the subject line ‘Feedback on Draft revised professional capabilities for medical radiation practice’ to medicalradiationconsultation@ahpra.gov.au

 

Online feedback to consultation

The Board is also making available a method for online feedback to consultation. The online feedback uses a Qualtrics survey platform and is based on the same questions in the published consultation paper, but also includes additional questions to enhance the specificity of feedback. While text responses can be provided in the online survey, responses for each question are limited to 300 characters. Please note that if you provide feedback using the online feedback method your comments and views will not be published. A high-level summary of the survey data and other consultation feedback will be provided after public consultation.
