The Medical Special Interest Group

The Medical Special Interest Group (MSIG) is a standing committee within the ANZSNM established to:
  • Advise the ANZSNM Federal Council on matters affecting medical specialists in Nuclear Medicine.
  • Provide leadership, advocacy, and strategic insight on clinical, professional, workforce, and educational issues relevant to Nuclear Medicine specialists.
  • Represent the collective interests of medical specialists in the Society’s policy development, engagement strategies, and scientific activities.
  • Facilitate direct communication and collaboration with the Australian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists (AANMS) to ensure unified advocacy and coherent responses to shared issues.
  • Strengthen the visibility, standards, and influence of Nuclear Medicine specialists across Australia and New Zealand’s healthcare landscape.
