The Medical Special Interest Group
The Medical Special Interest Group (MSIG) is a standing committee within the ANZSNM established to:

Advise the ANZSNM Federal Council on matters affecting medical specialists in Nuclear Medicine.

Provide leadership, advocacy, and strategic insight on clinical, professional, workforce, and educational issues relevant to Nuclear Medicine specialists.

Represent the collective interests of medical specialists in the Society’s policy development, engagement strategies, and scientific activities.

Facilitate direct communication and collaboration with the Australian Association of Nuclear Medicine Specialists (AANMS) to ensure unified advocacy and coherent responses to shared issues.

Strengthen the visibility, standards, and influence of Nuclear Medicine specialists across Australia and New Zealand’s healthcare landscape.
