The TSIG SRC is an initiative to engage with more students who represent the next generation of Nuclear Medicine Technologists. We have sought two representatives from each of the universities in Australia and New Zealand and have received overwhelming interest from students to be involved.
This group will be purely for students with oversight and guidance from representatives from both the TSIG Continuing Professional Development and Education (CPD&E) Committee as well as the TSIG Workforce Advocacy (WFA) Committee .
This will offer students a forum to get involved in their professional organisation, provide advocacy for their peers as well as a voice for students to communicate with the Technologists group (TSIG) on the issues facing our next generation of Technologists.
We hope that this engagement will lead to greater involvement by the ANZSNM in student events such as O-week, student conferences and promoting Nuclear Medicine. Whilst allowing increased feedback from students as well as encouraging a career-long association with the ANZSNM, both as members and also contributors to ANZSNM committees. We are confident it will strengthen the relationship between the universities, the ANZSNM, and the Nuclear Medicine community in working together to provide a fulfilling experience for our students.
